Frank DeLucia, Partner

Frank DeLucia is an experienced global executive with over 20 years of service in the life sciences and manufacturing sectors specializing in strategic planning, business development, operational finance, process development and project management.

Prior to moving into consulting in 2010, Frank spent five years at Talecris Biotherapeutics as Senior Director, Corporate Business Development and as Head of Plasma Resources Project Management, Best Practices and Marketing teams. Prior, he spent 17 years with Bayer working at the Bayer Healthcare Diagnostics, Pharmaceuticals and Biological Products business groups. While in these positions, Frank was responsible for orchestrating global strategies focused on targeted acquisitions, developed international strategies built on commercial and technology partnerships, created fully integrated life cycle and research portfolio management processes, negotiated licensing technology deals, and developed business models to improve budgeting, financial planning and analysis. Also, while with Bayer, Frank was transferred to Germany and assigned to work in their strategic planning group at the Bayer AG headquarters in Leverkusen.

As a consultant, Frank has provided business development direction for both small and large life science companies, including work with university startups negotiating licensing deals with biotech companies, and international biopharmaceutical establishing commercial footholds into the US marketplace. Frank is also actively working with non-profit organizations mentoring and providing consulting services for small business owners.

Frank has a BS and MS in Accounting from the University of New Haven, Connecticut and is a graduate of the Executive Development program at Notre Dame.
